Microsoft Raises Xbox Prices by Up to 43% in Europe and the UK
New Xbox pricing takes effect August 1st, with the base Series S seeing the steepest increase amid a memory supply crunch.

Microsoft is increasing the prices of its Xbox consoles starting August 1st across the United States, Europe and the United Kingdom, according to reporting from TechPowerUp and Engadget.
Engadget reported that the entry-level Xbox now starts at 499.99€ or £429.99. TechPowerUp, citing a list of updated European and UK pricing compiled by a member of the Resetera forum, said the Xbox Series S 512 GB rises from €349 to €499 — a roughly 43% increase over its previous price, the largest among the affected models.
According to TechPowerUp, the Xbox Series X Digital Edition moves to €749, up from €549. Price increases for the more powerful Series X range from about 33% to 36% depending on whether the edition is digital or disc-based, with the 1 TB disc version expected to cost €800. In the United States, the increases reach up to $150 depending on the SKU.
