The bulk of tokenized stock trading across several major blockchains is happening outside the traditional hours of U.S. equity markets, according to data cited in recent coverage.
Figures from Messari, referenced by BitKE, show that more than 70% of tokenized stock trading volume on BNB Chain occurs outside the standard U.S. session, which typically runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern Time. On Solana, that share is 63%, and on Base it is close to 60%. BitKE also cited Blockworks data pointing to similar proportions.
The pattern highlights one of the features of tokenized equities: investors can trade digital representations of stocks around the clock rather than being limited to exchange opening hours. BitKE noted that Robinhood has reported roughly 25% of its daily trading volume on busy days comes from outside regular hours.
