Marble Cognition, a Munich-based startup developing AI agents to automate internal business processes, has raised $3.75 million (about €3.35 million) in a pre-seed funding round. The round was co-led by Heartcore and Seedcamp, with angel investors including a board member of Datadog, a founder of Personio, and executives from McKinsey, Mistral AI and Lovable.
According to EU-Startups, the company plans to use the funding to scale inference, expand its engineering team in Munich, and support a launch in the United States.
The company, known as Marble, was founded in late 2025 by Felix Rösner and Christophe Schmit, who met through Munich's CDTM programme. Marble's platform analyses how employees carry out their daily work and converts those activities into structured process maps that AI systems can read. It then deploys AI agents, called Marble Coworkers, that execute business processes using a company's existing tools.
