
Nevermind VC launches with €23.6M first close for dual-use deeptech
The Italian venture firm has reached a first close for its Lazio compartment, backing early-stage dual-use technology startups.

Nevermind (NVM) Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on dual-use deeptech and frontier technologies in Italy and Europe, has officially launched. The firm announced a €23.6 million first close for its NVM Venture Lazio compartment, against a final fundraising target of €35 million, according to Tech.eu.
The compartment intends to assemble a portfolio of 10 to 15 dual-use companies at pre-Seed and Seed stage working in STEP Technologies. It will act mainly as a lead investor in startups with international growth potential, with a stated aim of strengthening the innovation ecosystem of the Lazio Region.
