New ASUS Googlebook Renders Surface Ahead of September 21 Pre-Orders

A new set of renders showing the ASUS version of Google's upcoming Googlebook laptop has appeared online, just days before pre-orders are due to begin on September 21.
The images, obtained by The Mac Observer, offer a detailed look at the ASUS model. According to GSMArena, the device uses a familiar laptop form factor but adds a distinctive "G" key and an RGB light bar on the lid. Both design elements are expected to feature across the Googlebook range.
Google first announced the Googlebook lineup in May, and a series of hardware leaks followed over the summer. Android Authority reports that the initial run will include models from Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo. Pre-orders are set to open on Monday, September 21.
