Nvidia has agreed to acquire the AI development platform Hugging Face for $12.9bn, according to reports cited by Tech.eu and Sifted. Both outlets attributed the figure to reporting rather than confirmed statements from the companies involved.
The deal was among several acquisitions tracked across Europe this week. In Germany, NEURA Robotics acquired ADLATUS, a move Tech.eu linked to bringing physical AI into autonomous cleaning. In Austria, the Wels-based health IT group x-tention took a majority stake in syndena, a health tech company based in Innsbruck.
