
Oshen and Twin1 AI Raise Fresh Capital to Scale Ocean Robots and Digital Twins
UK-based Oshen secured €4.27 million for its ocean-monitoring robot swarms, while Twin1 AI raised $20 million to build AI digital twins for professionals across San Mateo and London.

Two technology startups operating across borders have announced new funding rounds aimed at scaling their respective products.
Oshen, a robotics company based in Plymouth, United Kingdom, has raised €4.27 million (around $5 million), according to EU-Startups. The company builds constellations of small, wind- and solar-powered autonomous robots called C-Star, designed to provide continuous, wide-area monitoring of the open ocean. With the new capital, Oshen said it is tripling its manufacturing rate to meet demand from navies, weather agencies and ocean scientists. The round was led by Lunar Ventures, with participation from AlbionVC, Twin Track and Concept Ventures, along with angel investors joining as advisors.
