French quantum computing company Pasqal has drawn attention across Europe's deep-tech sector after regulatory filings connected to its planned public listing surfaced new details about its financing and valuation. According to Sifted, documents submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) outline more than $500m in fresh funding alongside a valuation described as increasing roughly 100-fold.
The disclosures matter for Europe's broader ambitions in quantum technology, an area where the continent is seeking to build independent capability and compete with heavily funded rivals in the United States and Asia.
