SambaNova, a California-based startup building artificial intelligence chips, has raised $1 billion in a Series F round that values the company at $11 billion, according to Ventureburn. The announcement was made at the Raise Summit in Paris, placing a closely watched AI hardware story squarely on the European stage.
The timing is notable for markets connecting Africa and Europe, where interest in AI infrastructure continues to grow and where buyers are increasingly weighing alternatives to established suppliers.
