US AI coding startup Replit has opened its first office outside the United States, choosing London as the base for its European operations.
According to Tech.eu, co-founder and CEO Amjad Masad said the company could employ as many as 100 people in London by early next year, though he noted this would depend on the pace of AI adoption. The office is located in King's Cross, an area that has drawn other US technology firms including OpenAI and Anthropic, and sits near companies such as Isomorphic Labs, Meta and Wayve. London mayor Sadiq Khan also spoke at the launch event.
