
Robinhood Chain Activity Drops Over 40% as Trading Slows in October 2026
Daily transactions on Robinhood's Layer 2 network fell to 6.2 million in early October, down from 10.8 million in mid-September, as fees and spot volumes declined.

Activity on Robinhood Chain, the company's Ethereum-based Layer 2 network, fell sharply in early October 2026, according to reporting from BitKE and CoinDesk.
The network averaged 6.2 million daily transactions between October 2 and October 8, a 42% drop from the 10.8 million recorded in mid-September, BitKE reported, citing calculations based on growthepie data. Daily transactions declined 20% from the previous week, while active blockchain addresses fell 31% from mid-September to roughly 322,000 per day.
Spot trading volume dropped 21% week-on-week to $7.45 billion, down from $9.46 billion, with Uniswap responsible for about 77% of that activity. Network fees fell 39% to approximately $65,000 per day, well below the $8 million collected on the chain's busiest day in early September.
