Samsung is reportedly moving into the manufacturing phase for its next flagship smartphone family, the Galaxy S27 series, according to coverage from GSMArena citing Korean reports.
GSMArena, referencing Korean publication The Elec, reported that Samsung has started mass producing the Exynos 2700 chipset. The production target was set more than 10% higher than that of the Exynos 2600, reportedly to account for a new model in the lineup, the Galaxy S27 Pro.
According to the same reporting, the Exynos 2700 will power the standard Galaxy S27, the Plus and the Pro variants in Korea and Europe, while those models are expected to use a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip in the US and China. The chip choice for the Galaxy S27 Ultra has not yet been settled.
