
Samsung's Galaxy A57 5G Becomes First A-Series Phone on Stable One UI 9
Samsung has begun its stable One UI 9 rollout, based on Android 17, reaching the Galaxy A57 5G alongside the Galaxy S24 series and 2024 foldables.

Samsung has started distributing the stable version of One UI 9, its software layer built on Android 17, to a wider set of devices, including the first phone from its mid-range A-series lineup.
According to Android Authority, the Galaxy A57 5G is the first A-series handset to join the stable rollout. The update initially reached the Galaxy Quantum 7 in South Korea, the local counterpart to the Galaxy A57 5G. The release carries firmware version A576SKSU2BZIE, and Samsung's official changelog dates it to October 6. It also includes the September 5, 2026 security patch. New features cited include expanded Quick Settings customization, updates to Samsung Health, additional security tools, and Bixby improvements. The US version of the Galaxy A57 5G has not yet received the update.
