Russia's biggest lender, Sberbank, is preparing to introduce crypto wallet services, according to reporting by CoinDesk. The move would tie digital asset functionality into the bank's established consumer and investment platforms, marking a further step in the country's evolving approach to regulated crypto activity.
What Sberbank Is Planning
According to CoinDesk, Sberbank intends to embed the new services within its "Sberbank Online" and "SberInvestments" products. That approach would place crypto wallet features alongside the everyday banking and investment tools already used by the lender's customers, rather than launching them through a separate standalone application.
