
Ripple Secures Full MiCA Crypto Licence via Luxembourg Regulator

Ripple has obtained full authorisation for its Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) licence from Luxembourg's financial regulator, the company announced. The approval marks a significant regulatory milestone for firms operating at the intersection of traditional and digital finance in Europe, and carries implications for cross-border payment flows that link European markets with other regions, including Africa.
What the Licence Covers
According to Finextra Research, the licence was authorised by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), Luxembourg's supervisory authority. Ripple, which describes itself as a provider of blockchain-based enterprise solutions spanning conventional and digital finance, said the CASP authorisation is now in effect.
