
Stockholm's Solace Care Raises €2.1M for End-of-Life Insurance Platform
The Swedish startup plans to expand insurer partnerships and launch in the Netherlands and the UK after closing a pre-Seed round led by Spintop Ventures.

Solace Care, a Stockholm-based end-of-life platform, has closed a pre-Seed round of €2.1 million, according to EU-Startups. The company said it will use the funding to broaden its partnerships with insurers and brokers, enter the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, and expand its product and commercial teams.
The round was led by Spintop Ventures, with participation from Plug and Play. Individual backers included Caroline Farberger, former CEO of ICA Försäkring; Fredrik Solberg, former CEO of Eir Insurance; Emil Lagerstedt-Karlsson, former VP Insurance Insurtech at Insurely; Tomi Yli-Kyyny, former CEO of Fennia; and Stefan Moritz, former Head of Innovation at Max Matthiessen. Further Than Capital, Mattias Miksche, Krim Talia and Wave Ventures also took part.
