Tickets for Good raises £3.9M to widen low-cost access to live events
The Sheffield-based ticketing platform will use the funding to expand internationally and create 10 new jobs, backed by investors including Mercia Ventures.

Tickets for Good, a UK ticketing platform that offers low-cost access to live events for key workers, has raised £3.9 million (about €4.5 million) to fund international growth and expand its team.
The round came from NPIF II - Mercia Equity Finance, managed by Mercia Ventures as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II, together with Shaping Impact Group (SI3), Finance Yorkshire, Leansquare and private investors. The company plans to create 10 new jobs in Sheffield over the next three years.
Founded in Sheffield by Steve Rimmer and the late Neville Mosey, the platform distributes surplus tickets supplied by event partners to NHS workers, teachers, charity staff and people receiving Cost of Living support. Members join for free and pay a small transaction fee per ticket, while venues and organisers can fill unused capacity and earn additional revenue from attendees.
