U.S. Bank has unveiled a new payments product aimed at simplifying how small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) manage their money transfers. According to Finextra Research, the lender announced the launch of a service called Enhanced Payments, described as a bundled solution built to let small business owners move funds more rapidly and at a lower cost.
What the Bank Announced
The offering is integrated directly into the bank's existing digital infrastructure, available through both U.S. Bank's online banking platform and its mobile application. Rather than requiring separate tools or third-party services, the product bundles money-moving capabilities into the channels that business customers already use. The stated aim is to combine speed and affordability for firms that often lack the treasury resources of larger corporations.
