
World Launches Self-Custodial App World Money Across 150-Plus Countries
World, the project formerly known as WorldCoin, has rolled out World Money, an app combining stablecoin payments, digital-asset trading, and rewards.

World, the digital identity and cryptocurrency project previously known as WorldCoin, has introduced World Money, a self-custodial financial application that brings together stablecoin payments, digital-asset trading, and rewards. According to BitKE, the rollout began on September 17 2026 and spans more than 150 countries, with available features and eligibility differing by jurisdiction.
Users can hold supported digital assets, send stablecoins and other tokens to recipients through World usernames, and trade assets via integrated exchanges. The app supports balances in eight currencies and offers portfolio tracking, transaction histories, and price alerts, BitKE reported.
