Xiaomi 18 Pro Series Detailed With Dual 200MP Cameras Ahead of Launch

Xiaomi has disclosed camera details for its upcoming 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max smartphones, which are due to launch in China the following day, according to GSMArena and Android Authority.

In posts on the Chinese social platform Weibo, the company outlined the hardware behind the dual 200MP rear camera systems and published sample photos taken with the phones.

Both models carry a Leica-branded 200MP primary camera built around a 1/1.28-inch sensor. This is paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera using a smaller 1/1.56-inch sensor. Android Authority reported that the primary sensor is slightly larger than the main camera on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, as well as the sensor rumored for the Galaxy S27 Ultra.
