Xiaomi 18 Pro Series Reveals Dual 200MP Cameras Ahead of China Launch
Xiaomi has detailed the rear camera systems of its upcoming 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max, both fitted with two 200MP sensors, ahead of a September 23 launch in China.

Xiaomi has disclosed camera specifications for its forthcoming 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max smartphones ahead of their launch in China, according to GSMArena. In posts on Weibo, the company outlined the hardware behind the dual 200MP rear camera setups on both devices and shared sample photos captured with them.
Both phones will carry a Leica-branded 200MP main camera built around a 1/1.28 inch sensor. That is paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera using a smaller 1/1.56 inch sensor.
TechCabal reports that Xiaomi will hold its autumn launch event on September 23, 2026, at 7 p.m. China time, which corresponds to 12 p.m. in Nigeria, 7 a.m. Eastern Time, and 4 a.m. Pacific Time. The event coincides with Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit, running September 22 to 24 in Maui, where Qualcomm is teasing two new Snapdragon 8 Elite platforms.
