Namespace, a Zurich-founded developer infrastructure company, has raised $42 million (around €37 million) in a Series B round, closing the deal only seven months after completing its Series A.
Founded in 2022 by Hugo Santos, a former principal engineer at Google, Namespace operates a platform designed to speed up software teams' build and test workflows across Mac, Windows, and Linux. Its goal is to let engineering teams develop software faster without having to manage the underlying infrastructure themselves. The company is positioning itself as an infrastructure layer for AI coding agents, enabling both developers and agents to build, test, and run code more quickly.
