
AI spare parts startup Intropy raises $11M seed to fund US expansion
London-based Intropy has secured $11m in seed funding led by Felix Capital as it plans a New York office and product development.

Intropy, a London-based startup that applies artificial intelligence to the spare parts sector, has raised $11m in a seed funding round, according to Tech.eu.
The round was led by Felix Capital, with participation from Quiet Capital and existing backers General Catalyst and Firstminute Capital. General Catalyst had previously led the company's pre-seed round, the size of which was not disclosed.
Founded in 2024 by YihKai Teh and Franziska Kirschner, both former researchers at UK AI insurtech Tractable, Intropy automates tasks such as inventory management and pricing for spare parts businesses. Its technology is aimed at distributors, manufacturers and recyclers, and is designed to replace spreadsheets and legacy systems.
