Amazon will run its Prime Big Deal Days sales event on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, with a number of discounts already available ahead of the official start, according to coverage from Tom's Hardware and GSMArena.
GSMArena reported that the event will last two days and that many, though not all, of the discounts require an active Prime subscription. Shoppers who have not used the free trial can activate it to qualify. Among the early offers, GSMArena noted that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 was close to 600 euros off and the Z Fold8 Ultra nearly 700 euros off.
Tom's Hardware is tracking deals across PC hardware categories including CPUs, GPUs, RAM, SSDs, laptops, gaming PCs and peripherals. The outlet pointed to rising prices on key PC components and said it is using price tracking and testing data to identify worthwhile discounts. It added that it will also cover sales from rival retailers running their own promotions during the same period, such as Newegg.
