NBC Sports adds Hall of Fame coach Doc Rivers as an NBA game analyst, while broadcaster changes ripple across the sports media landscape.

NBC Sports has added Doc Rivers to its NBA coverage as a game analyst, with the network's broadcasts set to continue next month across NBC, Peacock, and NBCSN, according to Sports Video Group.
Rivers is a Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame coaching inductee and led the Boston Celtics to the 2008 NBA championship. He spent 13 seasons as a player and has accumulated more than 40 years of NBA experience across playing and coaching. He also has prior broadcasting experience and previously worked for NBC as a studio analyst at the 2012 London Olympics.
Sam Flood, Executive Producer and President of NBC Sports, said it had been 14 years since Rivers last worked for the network and that NBC Sports was pleased to bring him back, as reported by Sports Video Group.
