Elon Musk has acquired APR Energy, a power company based in Jacksonville, Florida, that runs a fleet of mobile gas and diesel turbines with a combined generation capacity exceeding 1 gigawatt, according to a report by Electrek. The publication reported that the acquisition is aimed at supplying electricity to the data centers that operate xAI's Grok chatbot.
