Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) has introduced the first four systems in its HPE ProLiant Gen13 server range, powered by 6th Generation AMD EPYC processors.
According to the company, the new servers increase compute, memory and I/O capacity to support a range of enterprise workloads, including agentic AI and inference, analytics, virtualization, simulation and modeling. HPE said the systems are also designed to improve security, simplify operations and deliver reliability across distributed IT environments.
The company framed the launch around trust in AI infrastructure, citing McKinsey's 2026 AI Trust Maturity Survey, which found that nearly two-thirds of respondents named security and risk as the main obstacle to fully scaling agentic AI. To address these concerns, the Gen13 line combines HPE iLO 8 features for automatic protection, infrastructure trust and post-quantum readiness with additional visibility and control through HPE Compute Ops Management.
