US electronics retailer Micro Center appears to have removed Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5090 from its active product catalog. Multiple listings for the graphics card on the company's website now display a "Not Carried" status, according to reports from TechPowerUp and Tom's Hardware.
That designation differs from a standard out-of-stock label. As Tom's Hardware explained, an out-of-stock item is expected to be restocked once new inventory arrives, whereas "Not Carried" indicates the product is no longer part of the retailer's active lineup and is not expected to return.
Custom RTX 5090 models from Nvidia partners including Asus, MSI, and Gigabyte remain listed on Micro Center's website, but both outlets report these are out of stock across the retailer's physical locations. TechPowerUp said the only RTX 5090 still reportedly available at most stores is an Asus ROG Astral card bundled in a 20th Anniversary package priced at nearly $11,000.
