
Microsoft and Nvidia Launch Surface Laptop Ultra on RTX Spark
Preorders opened for the Surface Laptop Ultra, starting at $2,599 and shipping October 16, as partners including Asus and Dell unveiled their own RTX Spark PCs.

Microsoft and Nvidia introduced the Surface Laptop Ultra at a Windows and Surface keynote in San Francisco, with preorders opening the same day and shipments set to begin on October 16. The device is powered by Nvidia's RTX Spark system-on-a-chip, which pairs an Nvidia Blackwell RTX GPU with an Nvidia Grace CPU and unified memory.
According to TechPowerUp, the Surface Laptop Ultra starts at $2,599. The base configuration includes a 15-inch mini-LED display and the lower of two RTX Spark N1X options, featuring an 18-core CPU, a 5,120-core Blackwell GPU, and 24 GB of unified memory. A 20-core version with a 6,144-core GPU and 32 GB begins at $3,699, while the top model with 128 GB of memory and a 1 TB SSD is listed at $5,899. A 64 GB model with a 2 TB SSD is priced at $4,699. Microsoft first showed the laptop at Computex in June without a price or launch date.
