The Minnesota Lynx will broadcast their final local game of the 2026 regular season for free on FOX 9+, the team announced, after the shutdown of streaming service Victory+.
The game against the Connecticut Sun is set for Sunday, September 20 at noon CT on FOX 9+, a channel that the team says reaches close to two million homes across the region. According to the Lynx, the shift followed Victory+'s decision to cease operations, prompting the team to secure continued free access to its games for fans. Carley Knox, President of Business Operations for the Minnesota Lynx, said the priority was finding a reliable free option and pointed to FOX 9+ as a longtime supporter of the team, as reported by Sports Video Group.
The Lynx went into the FIBA World Cup break with a 31-9 record, leading the WNBA standings. The team resumes play on September 18 against the New York Liberty at Target Center at 6:30 p.m. CT.
