New Mechanical Keyboards From HP and Glorious Target Gamers and Desk Users

Two new mechanical keyboards have entered the market, one from HP aimed at gamers and general desktop users, and another from Glorious targeting buyers who want a compact, budget-friendly option.

According to TechPowerUp, HP has launched the GT06, a full-size mechanical keyboard supporting an 8,000 Hz polling rate. It offers wired, 2.4 GHz wireless, and Bluetooth connectivity, and carries a 106-key layout with a gasket-mounted structure and seven layers of internal padding. Buyers can choose between Kailh, Seiya, or Feather switches, and the board uses double-shot PBT keycaps with RGB backlighting and 16 lighting effects. It also supports Music Rhythm Lighting Effect 3.0 and includes a multifunction knob on the right side for volume control and one-click mute. A 12,000 mAh battery is rated for up to 30 days of use, though HP does not specify the conditions required to reach that figure. Two-stage adjustable feet allow users to change the typing angle, and configuration is available through web-based software or a dedicated client driver. The GT06 is currently sold in China through JD.com for 310 yuan, roughly $43. International availability and pricing have not been announced.
