NVIDIA has introduced a 64 GB unified memory configuration of its DGX Spark desktop AI systems, with availability through manufacturer partners Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP and MSI. The company said the new configuration arrives this month, aimed at developers, researchers and AI enthusiasts, and ships with DGX OS and NVIDIA's AI software stack preinstalled.
The launch targets local AI work, as open models become compact enough to run on more devices and as AI agents move into routine development, according to NVIDIA.
Among the partners, Gigabyte announced its own 64 GB unified memory edition of the AI TOP ATOM, adding to an existing 128 GB option. That version becomes available starting October 23. Gigabyte said the system keeps the hardware design of the AI TOP ATOM, which is built on the NVIDIA DGX Spark platform, and is intended to give developers, researchers and enterprise teams more flexibility in matching a configuration to their AI workloads and memory needs.
