Two mechanical keyboards have reached record-low prices in current retail promotions, according to reports from Tom's Hardware and Android Authority.
Keychron's K8 tenkeyless wireless keyboard is available at Woot for $34.99 when buyers apply the code KEYCHRON, according to Tom's Hardware. The outlet noted this is the lowest price the model has reached, down from a listed price of $79.99. New Woot customers can drop the price a further $5, to $29. The keyboard on offer is the 87-key TKL layout with Gateron Red linear switches and a white backlight, rather than RGB. Tom's Hardware said it is the Mac-specific version, though it supports both Windows and macOS, and Keychron includes extra keycaps for each operating system. The keyboard connects wirelessly over Bluetooth only, with no RF USB dongle, so Tom's Hardware suggested using the USB-C port for faster response times when gaming. The chassis is plastic rather than the metal used on some pricier models.
