The mid-July release calendar has settled into a slower rhythm, with a small but varied set of new titles reaching players this week, according to coverage by TechPowerUp. The slate is led by a cooperative Lovecraftian action game and rounded out by several genre experiments spanning bullet-hell action, turn-based strategy and simulation.

The week's centerpiece is The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, described as a Lovecraftian cooperative action game set in an era of gunpowder and muskets. TechPowerUp reported that the title launches on Wednesday, 15 July. Players form a group of explorers who search for treasure in a cursed jungle, supporting up to four-player cooperative play. The environment is populated by monstrous creatures said to alter reality, and the game challenges players to maintain their composure while navigating the hazards of the setting.
