
Cashflows Invests in Blackpool FinTech Tap & Go
London-based payments firm Cashflows has taken a stake in Blackpool startup Tap & Go, uniting two female-led UK fintechs. The amount was not disclosed.

Cashflows, a London-based payments company that helps businesses accept card and digital payments, has invested in Tap & Go, a Blackpool-based startup focused on card payment technologies and merchant services, according to EU-Startups. The size of the investment was not disclosed.
Tap & Go intends to use the funding to support its growth, broadening its product range across an increasing number of sectors while the two firms continue building their commercial partnership.
Tap & Go was founded in 2022 by Anna McDonald and Nichola Eagle as part of the International Connections Group (ICG), from which it recently spun out. The company provides card payment machines and business cash advances aimed at businesses of varying sizes. EU-Startups reported that McDonald, the company's Managing Director, described the tie-up as bringing together two female-led businesses with shared ambition, noting that Tap & Go sees itself as a challenger working alongside Cashflows, which it characterised as a challenger acquirer.
