
Lithuania's LITILIT secures €8M loan to scale femtosecond laser production
The Vilnius-based manufacturer will use the ILTE loan to develop a modular femtosecond laser system, with commercialisation planned for the second half of 2029.

LITILIT, a femtosecond laser manufacturer based in Vilnius, has secured an €8 million loan from the Lithuanian National Development Bank ILTE. The financing will support the development of a modular femtosecond laser system, referred to as FEMODA, aimed at accelerating the adoption of advanced lasers and enabling new applications.
The project carries a total value of €10 million, with LITILIT contributing €2 million of its own capital according to Tech.eu. Commercialisation of the new laser system is planned for the second half of 2029. The company recently broke ground on a large-scale femtosecond-laser facility in Vilnius.
