Lumin Digital, a provider of cloud-based digital banking software, has raised $115 million in fresh capital, according to reporting by Ventureburn. The strategic growth equity investment values the company at $1.6 billion.
The raise is notable for institutions and vendors watching how financial technology scales globally, including across the Africa↔Europe corridor, where cloud banking and AI-driven services are increasingly central to modernisation efforts. Lumin says the capital will support product development focused on artificial intelligence, payments, and lending tools delivered through its unified cloud banking platform.
