German robotics company NEURA Robotics has agreed to acquire the ACTIVE Shuttle driverless transport system from Bosch Rexroth, with the deal taking effect on October 1, 2026, according to Tech.eu.
The ACTIVE Shuttle is used across industrial firms for automated material handling, including supplying assembly workstations and moving small load carriers within production and logistics operations. Under the agreement, NEURA Mobile Robots will take on both the hardware and software of the system and will provide ongoing service to customers.
NEURA said it intends to fold the platform into its Physical AI ecosystem in stages, adding AI capabilities and interfaces that link to the wider NEURA Group's technologies. Within the group, NEURA Mobile Robots brings together its work in autonomous intralogistics and driverless transport.
