Guerrilla Games, the PlayStation studio behind the Horizon series, is reworking its co-op title Horizon Hunters Gathering by removing its live-service features, according to a report by Bloomberg's Jason Schreier cited by GamesIndustry.biz and TechPowerUp.
The game was announced in February 2026 as a live-service co-op title. Per the report, Guerrilla has been removing the live-service components since June 2026 in favour of a more conventional co-op approach. TechPowerUp, summarising the Bloomberg reporting, said the reworked game will have a reduced scope and include a story mode.
