
Thrive Holdings Raises $2B at $12B Valuation to Expand AI Business Roll-Ups
The New York-based firm secured $2 billion led by SoftBank, D1 Capital Partners and Altimeter Capital to acquire established businesses and deploy AI across them.

Thrive Holdings has secured $2 billion in fresh funding at a valuation of $12 billion, according to Ventureburn and TechCrunch. The round was led by SoftBank, D1 Capital Partners and Altimeter Capital, and it represents the first outside investment into the company. Until now, Thrive Holdings had drawn on commitments from the institutional investor base of Thrive Capital.
The New York-based company was spun out of Thrive Capital in 2025. Thrive Capital was founded by Joshua Kushner and has backed technology firms including OpenAI, Stripe and SpaceX.
