
Accel Raises Enlarged $800M Fund for European and Israeli Startups
The Silicon Valley firm behind Monzo and Lovable has closed an $800m early-stage fund for Europe and Israel, part of a broader $3.5bn global raise.

Venture capital firm Accel has raised an $800m fund dedicated to early-stage investments in startups across Europe and Israel, according to Tech.eu. The fund is larger than its $650m predecessor and represents Accel's ninth vehicle of this type for the region.
The European and Israeli fund forms part of an overall $3.5bn raise for early-stage investing globally, split across four funds. Alongside the $800m for Europe and Israel, Accel has allocated $1.35bn to a global expansion fund aimed at larger early-stage rounds and follow-on investments, $800m for US startups, and $550m for Indian startups.
