
Crypto Firms SafePal and Bits of Gold Report Data Breaches Affecting Customers
SafePal said nearly 40,000 users had order data exposed, while Israel's Bits of Gold reported personal data theft affecting around 200,000 customers.

Two cryptocurrency companies have disclosed separate data breaches affecting their customers, according to reports from The Record, BleepingComputer, and BitKE.
SafePal, a cryptocurrency hardware wallet provider, confirmed a breach that exposed order information belonging to about 39,798 customers. The affected data included names, addresses, contact details, and purchase records. According to BitKE, the incident stemmed from an authorization flaw in SafePal's order-tracking system that allowed one user to view another customer's order information. The company said the flaw was active between March 2, 2025 and April 11, 2026.
