
Binance Says Two UAE Employees Questioned Over Fund Flows Were Cleared
Two Binance staff were detained in the UAE during an inquiry into third-party fund flows, the company says, adding both were cleared and released.

Two employees of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance were detained in the United Arab Emirates in recent weeks as authorities looked into possible financial crimes tied to the company, according to reporting by the New York Times, which cited four people familiar with the matter, as noted by BitKE.
Binance said the staff were questioned in connection with routine inquiries into third-party fund flows moving through a client money account. The exchange stated that neither employee was a target of the investigation and that both were cleared and released. A company spokesperson told Cointelegraph the employees were released after giving statements to UAE authorities about the fund flows through a company client account.
